Application
The 343 Thin Mount 5/16" is designed for thin panels made of plywood, particle board composites, plastics, and solid surfaces. The 343 Thin Mount inserts into a drilled or routed 1/2" hole. The Thin Mounts are made with engineered automotive plastic that is slightly pliable and will not void the solid surface fabrication warranty. Specifications
The 343 Thin Mount 5/16" head is the same size as a Standard #10 pan head screw, 0.371". There is a narrow, but strong 1/8" shaft between two heads that allow for locking and 1/16" expansion and contraction. The ribs are threaded and fit snugly in a 1/2" diameter hole with a flat bottom. These ribs are small and sharp for better gripping performance. The 344 Thin Mount 5/16" can be epoxied into Corian and other solid surfaces or press fit.
Note * : We recommend that you allow at least 1/32" of additional depth to your pre-drilled holes to prevent bulging.
