911 Carbide Tipped 1-1/4" Forstner Bit, For Galaxies
The 911 Carbide Tipped 1-1/4" Forstner Bit is used for shop or field installation all Galaxy Inserts. Galaxies have a 5/16" depth, with a 3/8" recommended hole depth, leaving a 1/16" Air space to insure screws do not bottom-out. This gap also allows for expansion and contraction of the panels, without bubbling the surface.
