512 Ceiling Clip 2" w/ Screws

The 512 Ceiling Clips are designed to mount overhead panels to ceiling furring. The 512 Ceiling Clip are the same profile as the 510 Ceiling Clip Pairs. The 512 Ceiling Clip is the smaller 2" clip from the 510 Ceiling Clip Set and is produced without end-stops. This allows it to be used in conjunction with either full length sections of the 511 Ceiling Clip Bar, or other 512 Ceiling Clips if required. These fasteners allow panels to be lifted and dropped (1/4”) securely into place. Once in place, the panels can be removed only with coordinated lifting on all edges.

This clip has 2 holes for secure mounting and 1 slot for adjustments.

Product Uses

The Ceiling Clips are designed to hang architectural panels directly to a pre-engineered furring system with no fear of dislodging. They also have the unique advantage in that the panels, when lifted carefully and precisely, can be removed for various purposes. The panel position is adjustable up to a 1/4” allowing for material expansion. The panels can be held in position by adding small amounts of silicone where the clips join.

Strength Testing
Tensile Failure (Vertical weight holding) = 200 lbs. – SWL or Safe Working Load (weight holding) = 20 lbs.
Shear Failure (Horizontal pull side pull) = 160 lbs. – Side to Side Movement after hitting stops = 20 lbs.
