750 Tapered Horseshoe Shims
The 750 Tapered Shim is generally used to make adjustments to furring. The taper ascends from 1/32” to 1/8” thick. Two shims can be used as a pair to hold material evenly during positioning. The “U” shape allows for screws to be placed in the center, this will help hold and stop the shim from warping the material. The rough satin surface grips adhesives well; while the tail hook allows for mess free adjustments with the use of an improvised tool. In short, the 750 Tapered Shim was designed to increase speed and accuracy.
